Message Waiting Light and Messaging

Ifthesysteminstallerdesignatesyourstationtohavemessage-waitoriginateability,

you can turn on the message-waiting light of any other telephone.

To turn on the message-waiting light (and a broken dial

tone) at another station that is idle or busy,

1. PRESS INTERCOM.

2. DIAL

3. DIAL extension number. The message-waiting light of called

station will flash.

To turn off the message waiting light at a busy or idle

station,

1. PRESS INTERCOM.

2. DIAL

3. DIAL extension number. The message-waiting light of called

station will turn off.

To turn off the message-waiting light during

message-delivering conversation,

1. PRESS INTERCOM once if off-hook.

To receive a message at an alerted station,

1. OBSERVE flashing message waiting light OR HEAR broken

dial tone.

2. PRESS INTERCOM AND HOLD. The station that left the message

is called automatically.
