• The Wait for Ring transfer type is a hybrid of the Wait for Answer and Blind transfer
types. When Wait for Ring transferring is used, the Mailbox executes a Blind transfer when
it detects ringing at the extension. The Mailbox relies on the extension to forward non-
answered calls back to the Key Voice system with integration information (see information
on Blind transfers, above). If the Mailbox detects a busy signal at the extension, the Mailbox
pulls the call back from the extension the same way it would with a Wait for Answer or
Screen transfer. As with these transfer types, the Mailbox can be set up to place the caller on
hold in a queue for the extension or immediately play the Mailbox greeting to the caller (see
information on Wait for Answer and Screen transfers, above).
